About Us
Learn about The Counseling Place and how we can help.
Our Story
The Counseling Place was founded by Sarah James, LCSW, with a simple but powerful vision: to create a warm, welcoming space where people of all ages could find the expert therapeutic support they need. With nearly two decades of clinical experience and over 25,000 hours of direct client work, Sarah built a team of passionate, skilled therapists dedicated to helping clients break through barriers and create meaningful change.
Located in Lone Tree, Colorado, and serving the greater South Denver metro area including Castle Rock and Greenwood Village, The Counseling Place has grown into a trusted group practice offering comprehensive mental health services for children, teens, adults, families, and couples.
