Are you looking for a safe and supportive space to navigate life’s challenges?
I believe every person is unique, and I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages navigate their personal journeys in a way that best suits them. Whether you’re facing emotional struggles, life transitions, or seeking personal growth, I am here to listen, support, and walk alongside you.
I strive to provide a compassionate and understanding environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. My goal is to empower you with tools that foster resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
Experience
I began my college journey studying psychology for 2 years but explored several paths along the way. I hold degrees in Political Science and Clinical Laboratory Science with an emphasis in Molecular Biotechnology and am currently completing my MSW.
My previous work in medical research focused on chromosome segregation defects, but I ultimately returned to my true passion—helping others achieve emotional well-being. I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach to counseling and employ a variety of modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. I am passionate about supporting individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, depression, trauma, ADHD, and more. I believe in the inherent worth and value of every person and strive to offer a space where you feel respected, heard, and supported.
Having personally experienced the benefits of therapy; I bring both professional knowledge and a personal understanding of the healing process. I know how transformative therapy can be, and I aim to create a space where clients feel supported and valued.
A Bit About Myself
I grew up in South Dakota and have lived in Kansas City and Colorado. Outside of work, I have two wonderful children and two goofy rescue cats, Sunny and Snoopy. I enjoy practicing mindfulness meditation, spending time with friends, being in nature, skiing, exercising, traveling, and cheering on my children in their activities.
I hope to meet you and support you along your journey!
