Welcome, I’m Lauren Boogert, LCSW

““When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.” – Mr. Rogers

Welcome! I’m glad you’ve come to find out more about our services and how I might be able to support your child. Asking for help can be scary but I’m here to lessen the load. I create a safe, judgment-free zone for not only your child but for you too. Parenting is hard and takes a village. I’m here to be a part of your village for the success of your child.

Work Experience

My passion is working with elementary-aged children and their families. I work with children who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, school-related problems, and more. My approach to therapy is individualized and based on your child’s needs. Most of my work will focus on helping your child acquire coping skills, tools to overcome negative thought patterns, self-advocacy skills, and communication skills.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and obtained my Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. I have worked in residential treatment centers, with child protection services, and am currently working as a school social worker.

I am a third-generation Colorado native and graduated from Columbine High School. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. I am also in the process of training our 6-year-old pup to join me in my practice as a therapy dog.
